36 Days of Type 2021
Spring 2021
This year was the first year I participated in the 36 Days of Type Challenge, and I've learned so much from this experience!
Modeling and animating on the daily really tested my limits as I juggled schoolwork along with personal creative work (and daily sketches!!), so I stuck with a distinct theme, background, and lighting to simplify and add constraints to my workflow. I had a lot of great memories from Pokémon as a child, and recreating the Unowns was a great tribute. Because the form/model was very straightforward, my goal for this challenge was to create a short animation each day to improve my rigging, weight painting, and overall animation skills.
